If you didn't know, the Channel Master Probe 9 came in two parts. You put these two sections together when you assembled it. Take a look:I don't know who would get excited about looking at antenna photos except for DXers or Audiophiles, but if you fit into either category, this are for you. Even if you are neither, go ahead and look. These are rated G.

The CM in my backyard when I was getting it ready to put on the roof. Now here is a photo of a Probe 9 and an old vintage Finco FM5. The FM5 is long gone. This Probe-9 rusted out. I have a spare SP9 hanging from the rafters in the basement, just in case.

The Finco on the left, the CM on the right. The CM is longer. And lastly, here is another shot of the Finco. This may be the last
Finco FM-5 anyone will ever see...RIP.

Probably the last living Finco FM5.And there you have it, a close up tour of my antennas and my burned out lawn in 2000.
It's now 2012 and my lawn is in much better shape. There's an APS-13 on the roof. The boom got bent in the October 2012 snowstorm. A couple of directors had to be removed and the boom stomped on and straightened. Of course, you can't find APS-13s anymore. Oh, well.Updated 1/3/12
